Terrible Food Quality
The food served here is not only overpriced but also of extremely poor quality. The staff handle the food in the most unhygienic manner, making it a health hazard. Even worse, they force you to buy packaged drinking water, and according to the receptionist, their regular water supply contains arsenic!
Unhygienic Conditions
The washrooms at Xat Bhoni Chang Dhaba are absolutely filthy, with a stench that can be smelled from a distance. When you raise a concern about the dirty facilities, the owner not only dismisses your complaint.
This dhaba is notorious for its unethical practices. Most buses stop here because the staff receives free food and other perks from the owner, at the expense of passengers. It feels like a night-time highway robbery, where you’re forced to pay for overpriced, inedible food in exchange for a short break.
Xat Bhoni Chang Dhaba is a place that should be avoided at all costs. The combination of poor food quality, unhygienic conditions, and rude staff makes it one of the worst stops on your way to Guwahati. It doesn’t even deserve a 1-star rating. For a more pleasant and safe journey, it’s better to bring your own snacks.
